  • As a girl she liked to give shows to guests at home, dancing like Michael Jackson or toward trapeze. Her only connection to the artistic vein, was her paternal grandfather who was a  mariachi.
  • She moved to Aspen, Colorado when she was young and lived there for six years, then returned to Queretaro for 7 years, and then went to study in France at age 14. She also lived in London, Moscow, Mexico and now in Santa Monica, California.
  • Karla was thoroughly prepared for her profession, she studied four years dancing, singing and acting in the south of France, then she did a BA Honors Acting Degree at London’s Central School of Speech and Drama for 3 years, and then studied a summer in Moscow, an intensive Stanislavski with Anatoli Smilianski.

  • Her stay in London was not easy, had to work handing out flyers on the street, in a catering company providing food, was a waitress while studying acting, also she shaved her head and went gained 15 kilos due depression.
